Now let me tell you about me: I’ve been really busy! So, uh, sorry for not posting anything in a few months (other than the weekly pages of Life is Good, of course).

That’s right! I’m ALREADY done with issue 7! While all you suckers (that I REALLY appreciate reading my stuff) are still in the middle of reading issue 6 for FREE on your stupid computers, people who still buy printed floppies can read the last chapter of the Midtown Park story arc when I debut it at Philly Alternative Comic Con August 14th & on my Big Cartel store soon after! Of course, money will have to be exchanged, but it’s a measly $4!

I mean, what else are you going to spend that $4 on? Tacos?

Hmm… well, now that you mention it, tacos ARE really damn good. I’d probably buy $4 worth of tacos over my new issue, too… but if I had an EXTRA $4 I’d TOTALLY pre-order Life is Good #7!

i was interviewed recently by Mike Dawson for his TCJ Talkies podcast over at the Comics Journal. we mostly talked about my experiences going to the Center for Cartoon Studies (the uber-talented Joe Lambert, Lucy Knisley & Melissa Mendes are also interviewed about the same subject), so if that sounds like the sort of thing you’d like to listen to head over to the TCJ Talkies page right now!

So May’s a pretty busy month around these here parts. Along with finishing up Life is Good #7, I’ve got a few commission pieces to work on. And then, of course, there’s all that beer drinking & movie watching I need to catch up on…

ANYWAY, Sara & I are also going to be selling our comics & other junk at some upcoming shows this month that I thought you should know about.

rob clough – of the comics journal – recently revived his high-low review blog & just yesterday slapped a nice, long & thoughtful review of the first five issues of “life is good” up there!  check it out!
